Hazro HZ27WC: Introduction
The HZ27WC is part of Hazro’s range of WQHD IPS displays. Stripped down to a single dual-link DVI connector, video content bypasses scalers minimising latency [input lag] and offering an altogether more pleasurable viewing experience with noticeable results especially in FPS gaming.
Built around a 27" W-LED IPS panel, the HZ27WC offers 60% more workspace than a standard 24" monitor and is proven to increase productivity, efficiency and output. The extra workspace allows for simultaneous viewing of multiple document windows and enables quicker access to tools and color palettes. The IPS panel also allows for group viewing and is ideal for presentations and client proofing. Even at extreme angles of up to 178 degrees, colors don't appear faded or washed as they typically do on inferior LCD displays.
Aimed specifically at discerning professionals in the creative and multimedia industries, the HZ27WC features a Japanese manufactured protective glass sheet behind which lies the panel. This transparent cover sheet enhances content and contrasts so they appear vibrant, sharp and vivid with noticeably deeper blacks and richer whites. Additionally, a 6ms response time significantly reduces streaking, ghosting and digital noise and this rapid interchange between active and inactive pixels combined with the high contrast ratio results in less blur and an altogether superior viewing experience.
Visible difference in contrast and saturation when viewing the same image on the HZ27WC LED and a inferior CCFL panel. The vibrant, rich and vivid colors on the HZ27WC are also noticeably sharper than they would appear on matte displays.
Additional Features
The LED IPS panel consumes less energy than standard CCFL LCD panels and reduces CO2 emissions making the HZ27WC a ECO-Friendly display. The glass panel is also RoHS certified and is assembled in a Class 1 cleanroom environment complete with sophisticated dust extraction equipment. This minimises/eliminates dust getting trapped between the glass front and panel which historically has plagued LCDs in the past. 5W TV quality stereo speakers are also included and are noticeably louder, clearer and crisper than the standard 2W speakers found in traditional LCD monitors. Finally, the HZ27WC is VESA 100x100mm compatible allowing for connectivity of arms, brackets and stands without the need for special adapters.
