Hazro HZ27WD: Introduction

The HZ27WD was launched to bridge the gap between 'work' and recreational displays. Until now, discerning professionals in the creative and multimedia industries were limited to displays built around smaller IPS / S-PVA panels whilst gamers opted for CRT monitors, inferior TN displays with high response/contrast or television sets. By incorporating a high resolution LED IPS panel with multiple I/O connections, the HZ27WD works perfectly as a professional and gaming display. The Dual Link DVI connector is used for PC/MAC connectivity with the HDMI reserved for gaming consoles, HD set-top boxes or blu-ray players. Component Y/Pb/Pr is also offered for analog HD devices.

Visible difference in contrast and saturation when viewing the same image on the HZ27WD LED and a inferior CCFL panel. The vibrant, rich and vivid colors on the HZ27WD are also noticeably sharper than they would appear on matte displays.

Significant reduction in streaking, ghosting and digital noise due to a fast response time of 6ms. This rapid interchange between active and inactive pixels combined with the high contrast ratio results in less blur and an altogether superior viewing experience.

Featuring a 2560x1440 resolution [WQHD], the HZ27WD is ideal for creative professionals and gamers who demand nothing but the very best. IPS panels are preferred for their superior true color values, the most consistent image and a superior viewing angle as compared to other LCD technologies.

The 27-inch diagonal display provides 10-bits color resolution and 1.07 billion displayable colors, compared to 16.7 million colors available on most 27-inch diagonal panels. This extended pallet outputs brighter, crisper and sharper content allowing for separation and distinction of colours not otherwise possible on traditional displays. Horizontal and vertical banding is reduced with more gradient increments and steps between color transitions. The HZ27WD is also ideal for use in collaborative environments as glare and distortion is minimal even at extreme angles of up to 178 degrees. The result is sheer brillance.

The HZ27WD features dual scalers allowing various resolutions to be mapped simultaneously in BOTH DVI and HDMI modes. Images can be viewed in native resolution, interpolated to fit the screen or 1:1 mapped. The HZ27WD allows for 1:1 pixel mapping for commonly used 16:10, 16:9 and 4:3 resolutions. PIP/PBP is also supported allowing for simultaneous viewing of two sources side-by-side.
